Faber — Privacy Notice

Closed beta. During the beta we keep the full record of a run — your prompt, the agent's steps, and the images and files it worked from — so that we can see what the product actually did and fix it.

Who we are

Faber (faber.ai) is the controller of the personal data described here.

What we hold

• Your identity: the email address, and the first and last name, that Google or Microsoft give us when you sign in. We never receive your password. We record which provider you came through.
• Your work: the text you write, the files you attach, and the geometry, drawings and images a run produces.
• Your usage: what each run cost and how many credits are left, plus the agent's own record of the steps it took.
• Your acceptance: that you accepted these documents, which version, a digest of the exact text you were shown, and when.

Why, and on what basis

To provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract), to meter and bound its cost, to keep it secure, and to improve it during the beta (our legitimate interest in a product that works). Accepting these documents is recorded to show a legal obligation was met.

Who else sees it

• Google, as our model provider: prompts, attachments and images are sent to the Gemini API so the agent can work. They are not used to train Google's models.
• Microsoft Azure, as our hosting provider, in France.
• PostHog (EU), for the product analytics that record how a run went.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use your files to train our own models.

How long

Your account and your projects are kept while the account exists. Analytics about a run are kept for thirty days. If you ask us to delete your account we delete it and its projects.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction, or its deletion, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Write to us at faber.ai. You may also complain to your data protection authority — in France, the CNIL.

Changes

This notice carries a version, and the version changes whenever the text does. When it changes you will be asked to accept the new text before continuing.
